3. Create your icon

Next I made a quick icon for the widget. It needs to be 75 by 75 and have a drop shadow like below.

50% opacity
90 Degrees angle from orizonatal (270 in fireworks)
3 pixel offest

I ended up with the icon below just by taking the widget maker icon and putting a frame and drop shadow around it.
